Community Grant Selection Committee

Responsibilities

The Community Grant Selection Committee is responsible for allocating municipal grant funding to community non-profit groups for projects and special events. The terms of reference for the committee is scheduled for approval at the March 7, 2017 council meeting, but in the meantime you can read the draft policy and procedure for grant allocation here:

Meetings

The committee will meet a minimum of three times a year, typically in May and October. Meeting dates, times and locations will be advertised on this page with a minimum notice of 24 hours.

Membership

The committee consists of 2 public members, 2 representative from Town administration, and 1 member of council. The public member term is 1 year. We are currently accepting applications from members of the public interested in sitting on the committee for a partial term that will expire in October 2017.
