Using the Climbing Gym

All patrons must check-in at the Customer Experience desk upon arrival. Payment for drop-in sessions and rental equipment will occur then. Please then check in at the climbing desk.

All climbers must fill out a waiver or acknowledgement of risk before their first visit. See the link above or

All patrons new to the climbing gym must undergo an orientation with the climbing gym staff.

Before utilizing the top-ropes, or before lead climbing, patrons must pass a belay check with the staff. For members, there are no additional costs. However, for non-members, a top-rope test is $5, and a lead test is $7.

Monday to Friday: 9 AM to 10 PM

Saturday and Sunday: 9 AM to 9 PM

Holidays Hours: 10 AM to 5 PM

The Town of Canmore is located within Treaty 7 region of Southern Alberta.
