Business 2 Business Voucher Program
As part of the Town of Canmore Economic Recovery Plan, we launched the Business 2 Business (B2B) Voucher program. Managed in partnership with Community Futures Centre West, this initiative connects local business owners with professional services in this uncertain time.
The B2B Voucher Program provides access to critical advisors and business service professionals to provide businesses with advice and services to build resiliency through the relaunch process. Eligible businesses can request funding of up to $2,000 for approved professional services to support a successful relaunch!

Program Details
• Be located within the Town of Canmore
• Hold a valid Business License
• Been in operation for a minimum of 6 months
• Have demonstrated efforts to evolve business amidst the COVID-19 pandemic
• Employ at least two people aside from the business owner(s), this could include contract workers.
Successful applications that meet the minimum eligibility criteria will be referred to the Community Futures Centre West for an initial needs assessment and strategy development.
• Human resource consulting
• Up to 2 sessions with a mental health professional
• Bookkeeping and accounting
• Virtual business and automation assistance
• Business operation strategies; recovery plans, and resiliency planning
• IT support for remote work
• Marketing support
Funding can be used for one or multiple areas; however, the maximum total funding per business will not exceed $2,000.
The Voucher Program cannot be used for: debt servicing, paying of wages or salary, purchases of inventory, operating expenses such as rent or capital expenditures.
• Community Future Centre West will follow-up with a brief conversation to review the application, get clarification and might include a Business Needs Assessment via online video conferencing.
• Community Future Centre West and Town of Canmore Economic Development will review applications.
• Approved funds should be used prior to December 31st, 2020.

FAQs
• This program will be managed by the Town of Canmore, in partnership with Community Futures Centre West.
• While this program will help build resiliency in our business community, it is NOT a financial bailout program.
• get a minimum of two quotes for each recommended service area,
• request funding of up to $2,000, and
• complete a graduation report upon completion of the program including financial accounting upon completion of the program.
Funding applications will be assessed to the maximum dollar value, and businesses will be responsible for any additional costs outside of that approved amount. A contract is to be signed for services rendered.

Recipients of this program must use Canmore-based professional services to support our local economy unless these services are not available locally. Then, the services must be secured within the Bow Valley.
