Apply For or Renew Your Resident Permit

The Canmore Resident Parking Permit allows permit holders to park for up to three hours daily in paid zones in both the Town Centre and Quarry Lake. The virtual permit also allows residents to park in all Canmore Resident Parking Permit-only zones around both the Town Centre and Quarry Lake.

You need to start a parking session each time you park in a payment zone.

  • By using the nearest pay machine

Note: when parking in Canmore Resident Parking Permit only zones, you do NOT have to register your session.

Resident Parking Permit Renewals Just Got Easier!

We've made it easier for you to renew your resident parking permit! If nothing has changed to the information on your account (e.g. vehicle, registration, address), you can renew your permit without uploading any supporting documents.

Here is how it works: 30 days prior to the expiration of your resident parking permit, Blinkay will send you an email notification with a link for quick renewal. Do not delete the email! Quick renewal is only available through Blinkay's link and cannot be done from your Blinkay account online or through the app. If you have deleted the email from Blinkay or if there are changes to your information, permit renewal can be done from your account; however, you will have to upload supporting documents.

Wondering why you haven't been notified that your pemit is about to expire? We have extended the duration of some of the existing resident parking permits to help improve customer service, and your permit might be one of them.
