1200 2 Ave Mixed Use Development

What is Happening?

A two building development consisting of six visitor accommodation units and one commercial unit, located on privately owned land at 1200 2 Ave, was approved by the Canmore Planning Commission on December 15, 2021. This is a permitted used within the TPT-CR Teepee Town Comprehensive Redevelopment District (Sub-District C). 

The proposed development was approved with the following five variances to the regulations of Land Use Bylaw 2018-22 – variances to commercial site width, maximum building height, maximum eave line height, building step back and maximum site coverage.
