Land Use Bylaw Amendment - Silvertip Trail Direct Control District
What is Happening?
The Town of Canmore has received an application to amend the Land Use Bylaw – DC09-99 Silvertip Trail Direct Control District. The proposed amendment is to add ‘Health, Wellness and Resort Spa Facility’ as a Discretionary Use in this District. This is a new use, and the amendment will allow for it to be considered for development on properties with this district designation (zoning). The map included above shows all properties currently designated DC09-99.
Silvertip Trail Direct Control District (DC09-99) can be accessed on page 415 of the Town of Canmore Land Use Bylaw.
The application is currently being circulated to affected landowners and other stakeholders for comment. It is anticipated the amendment will be brought to Council for consideration of First Reading in March.
