What is Happening?

Block 3

The application for subdivision was approved on October 13, 2020. This created 18 new lots, one spa/resort amenity lot and 17 resort (commercial) accommodation lots.


Block 10

The application for subdivision was approved on November 24, 2020. This created a residential neighbourhood with 24 duplex lots, 34 detached dwellings, as well as municipal and environmental reserve lots. A condition of this approval is that approved commercial development (i.e. Block 3) must be endorsed or constructed before or at the same time as this development. 


Next Steps - Updated November 1, 2021

  1. An interim development agreement has been issued for earthworks along the future roadway. Earthworks are expected to start soon, heavy equipment will be working in the area.
  2. FireSmart tree removal and burning work is complete.
  3. The developer is preparing detailed engineering drawings for review by the Town.
  4. The developer is working on the outstanding conditions of subdivision.
