An application has been received for a mixed-use building, located at 1 Industrial Place (on the corner of 17 Ave and Industrial Place) that includes employee housing and offices above the main floor, light manufacturing operations, retail thrift stores, an eating establishment, a private club, and a warehouse store.
Does this meet the bylaw regulations?
No, an initial review of the application indicates that variances are required to maximum building and eave line height, minimum 6:12 roof slope, requirement for the front façade to include natural finishing materials, parking requirements, loading stall requirements, and permitted lumens for lighting. The Canmore Planning Commisssion will review the application at their public meeting on the afternoon of June 26, 2019. This webpage will be updated with their decision shortly afterwards.
