An application has been received for a new mixed-used building at the northeast side of 900 Railway Avenue. It is proposed to be a food retail development. A second floor will provide four units of employee housing.
Does this meet the bylaw regulations?
No, a variance is required for the floor area ratio, number of parking stalls, and a requirement for a cascading roof to break up massing and add visual interest. The Canmore Planning Commission will review the application at the end of July. This webpage will be updated when more information is available about the meeting date.
