Join us on June 16 at the Canmore Recreation Centre from 1 – 4 p.m. for the Living with Wildfire: FireSmart Forum. This event brings together industry professionals and researchers from the Town of Canmore, Alberta Forestry, FireSmart, the University of Alberta, and more to help you understand what it means to live with wildfire risk, and what you can do to limit that risk. The event will also feature booths with local landscaping professionals, the Canmore Fire-Rescue team, and others who can walk you through opportunities and options to FireSmart your home and work collectively with your community members to keep Canmore and the wider Bow Valley safe.
