Playgrounds are for ALL our community's littles. 

When we were planning Lions Park playground, a few families reached out to inquire about including language boards for children who are non-verbal.

It took some reading and planning, but we found an organization that created a communication system widely used by people and families with non-verbal children. This is now the third playground we have installed one of these signs (Peaks of Grassi, Lions, and now Lady MacDonald). 

We are proud to make our play spaces inclusive of the diversity that makes our community special. We hope you enjoy these new additions!
