Town of Canmore

Childcare Assessment

Childcare Assessment Survey

We are conducting the Town of Canmore’s first-ever Childcare Assessment to better understand gaps, needs, and impacts of childcare availability in Canmore from the perspective of parents and caregivers, providers, and business owners. The Childcare Assessment may include recommendations to Council for potential actions that the municipality could take to address identified gaps and opportunities for childcare services in our community.

Baseline data gathered as part of this assessment will help identify areas where the municipality could make a future community-specific impact through programs, policies, or other actions. The assessment will be presented to Council in late fall 2022 and will include recommendations to Council to improve the support available to those with childcare needs.
