Old Canmore Road Watermain Connection Upgrade
The Town of Canmore is undertaking a project to upgrade the current Town water supply system and allow for larger flows into the Bow Valley Trail west development area.
The project was split into two phases. Phase one was completed in 2020 and involved the construction and upgrade of the watermain from Old Canmore Road to Mountain Street along Bow Valley Trail. Phase two involves connecting the phase one water main at Old Canmore Road to a watermain on the south side of the Canadian Pacific Rail tracks.
Construction Schedule
Work will start in February and continue to June 2022. The water main installation completion is expected to occur in May, with minor surface works improvements completed in June 2022.
