                                                             NEW COVID-19 Restrictions in Place

Effective Sept. 20, 2021, anyone aged 12 or over who enters the Canmore Recreation Centre will be required to provide a government-issued I.D (for those 18 and older) AND proof of vaccination, a negative PCR or rapid test COVID-19 result taken within 72 hours, or a medical exemption letter. Your personal information is protected in accordance with the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act and is collected, used, and disclosed only for the purpose of determining your eligibility to enter our recreation facilities.

From Sept. 20 to Oct. 25: proof of a single dose is considered acceptable as long as the dose was given more than 2 weeks before the time of service.
After Oct. 25: proof of double vaccination is required if not already provided.

Other information:

-At this time, access at Canmore Recreation Centre is only for programs and bookings. Entrances will be locked and opened in advance of bookings or programs.
-Entrances will be locked and opened in advance of bookings or programs. User groups will be responsible for delivering their programs in accordance with REP requirements.
-We are removing common space amenities to discourage lingering outside of programs and bookings.
-We will be reaching out directly to registered program participants with more information.
-We will provide refunds or credits to all cancellation requests for bookings or events. 
-Masks are also mandatory in all indoor public spaces. Masks must be worn by all patrons at the Canmore Recreation Centre except when patrons are engaged in physical activity.

The Canmore Recreation Centre offers a variety of sport and leisure opportunities for all ages. The facility has two ice skating rinks, two multipurpose rooms, one including a servery, two meeting rooms, and a fully-equipped fitness gym available for private hire. The Town of Canmore is located within Treaty 7 region of Southern Alberta.
