Child Minding

Due to COVID-19, child minding services remain closed at this time. 


When parents or caregivers are using our Elevation Place facilities and programs, child minding services are available for children ages 6 months to 7 years old. Your child will be cared for by professional staff with child-minding training and experience. All of our staff have security clearance and possess a current First-Aid certificate.


  • Your child will enjoy craft activities, books, toys, puzzles and colouring

  • Drop-in fee (per half hour): $3 (member), $4 (non-member)
  • 10 hour bulk passes $55 (member), $75 (non-member)
  • Maximum stay is 2 hours

Health and Safety

  • Toys and equipment are disinfected daily to ensure a clean and safe environment
  • If your child is showing signs of illness, please refrain from visiting

Snacks and Meals

  • Parents are encouraged to pack a snack for your child
  • Snacks with nut products are not permitted
  • Names on food containers and bottles are preferred

What to Wear and Bring

  • Indoor shoes must be worn at all times
  • If your child has a special object (blanket, stuffy, etc.), please bring it along

Comfort and Care

  • Full washroom and diaper-changing facilities are available
  • If your child has difficulties adjusting to being left in childcare, please allow extra time to make them feel comfortable and secure before you leave

The Town of Canmore is located within Treaty 7 region of Southern Alberta.
