Aquatics Centre Service Disruption Rebate Program

Rebates are now available to current Go Beyond and Splash Memberships to compensate for the unprecedented closure of the Aquatics Centre at Elevation Place from Jan. 14 to 24 and Feb. 7 to 13, 2020 (some restrictions apply). Rebates will be issued only upon request. 

Our members are the backbone of Elevation Place, and we know the recent unprecedented closure was frustrating. We take great pride in offering a first-class facility and exceptional service for our community. This rebate is a gesture of continuing appreciation for your patronage.

How can I get a rebate?

Why aren’t the rebates issued automatically?
Due to the complexities of multiple closures, various membership types, and holds periods, all rebates must be issued manually by our team and will be processed by request only.
Why aren’t Recreation Fee Assistance (RFA) memberships eligible?
The Town of Canmore strives to ensure that recreation services are accessible to all residents, which is why we established the RFA program. Since this program is already provided to RFA members at a significant discount, we will not be issuing rebates for this membership type.
What happens if I put a retro-active hold on my account. Do I still get a rebate?
If you placed a hold or retroactive hold on your membership for one of the recent closure periods (Jan. 14-24 or Feb. 7-13) you will be compensated for the hold in the form of a recurring payment reduction and your rebate amount will be reduced accordingly. If you placed a hold or retroactive hold for both closure periods, you are not eligible for an additional rebate.
Will you be issuing rebates for every closure?
This rebate program is the Town’s response to an exceptional situation. The Town of Canmore does not provide rebates for service disruptions caused by scheduled or unscheduled maintenance, events, competitions, or programs.
