Apply for a Committee

Interested in volunteering for a committee or board? Members have a direct influence on the future of our community, and it's a great opportunity to learn more about the town and meet people with similar interests.

Council appoints public members every October at their annual organizational meeting.  The application deadline for this year has passed, but please check back in late August 2019 for your next opportunity to apply.    

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

Unless otherwise noted, members must be Canmore residents.

HOW TO APPLY

1.  Fill out one of the following forms. When you're finished, click on Submit by Email in the upper right corner. If you need more room to respond or would like to include your resume, please include them as attachments on the email that will open after you click on Submit.

2.  Pick up an application at the Canmore Civic Centre reception desk, 907 7th Avenue. It can be dropped off at the Civic Centre or mailed to:
