Mission statement:

Serving our diverse community to improve the quality of life by overseeing the safe, efficient, sustainable, and professional operation and enhancement of municipal facilities.

Core functions:

  • Maintain 62 buildings located at 23 different sites that cover over 340,000 sq. ft. with an approximate replacement value of $255M
  • Lead capital and operating projects, focused on fiscally responsible asset management 
  • General maintenance, custodial, and logistical services including arena and pool management
  • Departmental and community event logistical support
  • Tenant lease management
  • Energy procurement and conservation

The Town of Canmore is located within Treaty 7 region of Southern Alberta.
