Canmore’s New Climate Emergency Action Plan

Council officially adopted a Climate Emergency Action Plan which outlines a strategy with recommendations based on scientific consensus and public engagement. The plan integrates climate change mitigation and adaptation through an equity lens to consider the diversity of our residents. This new, updated plan replaces our previous environmental guiding documents – Environmental Sustainability Action Plan (2010), Climate Change Adaptation Background Report and Resilience Plan (2016), and the Climate Action Plan (2018).
