We’re making it easier for residents and businesses to access permits and services from the Town of Canmore. Starting Jan. 28, 2025, all planning, building and development-related applications must be submitted through our online application portal at portal.canmore.ca.

This expansion is part of our ongoing effort to streamline processes and improve customer service. Since launching the portal in 2023, we’ve taken a phased approach to ensure a smooth transition for both staff and the public. Thanks to the success of the first two phases, we’re now ready to include all remaining permits in the system.

Starting Jan. 28, we will no longer accept PDF forms submitted via e-mail.
