Public Member Applications

Council will be appointing public members to the various boards and committee during the October 22, 2024 Annual Organizational Meeting of Council.

The application period for 2024 - 2025 Council Committee appointments is open until Monday, September 23, 2024 at 8:00 a.m

The Town is currently recruiting for the following number of committee vacancies:

  • Assessment Review Board - 5
  • Canmore Community Housing Board - 2
  • Canmore Library Board - 3
  • Canmore Planning Commission - 2
  • Community Events Committee - 3
  • Community Grants Selection Committee - 2
  • Cultural Advisory Committee - 2
  • Heliport Monitoring Committee - 3
  • Subdivision & Development Appeal Board - 2

Before applying, please refer to the Committee Eligibility and Code of Conduct Bylaw 2024-21.
