What We Do

Canmore Municipal Enforcement engages with residents and visitors to provide a safe and livable community by providing efficient and timely service to citizens, focusing on community needs and priorities voiced by residents, strengthening our relationship with neighbourhoods, and taking an educational-based approach through enforcement of bylaws approved by Council.

Our Community Peace Officers respond to complaints seven days a week to enforce Bylaws & Policy and Provincial Statutes. For a comprehensive list of all bylaws click here

Lost and Found Items

Found items brought to the Town of Canmore are kept for a minimum of 30 days. Unclaimed items are donated to charity organizations.

If you have lost an item please call Municipal Enforcement at 403.678.4244 daily between 7:30 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. to file a report.

You may also email us at enforcement@canmore.ca with your lost report or download it for printing and drop it off in person. If you find an item, you can bring it to 100 Glacier Drive, Canmore.
