Day Camps

The Town of Canmore is pleased to provide quality day camps for children and youth in our community.

Our commitment is to ensure your child has a safe, rewarding and memorable day camp experience. Through carefully planned itineraries, we will provide meaningful and age-appropriate activities that take into consideration Canmore and our local resources.

All camp participants must fill out a Camper Information Form and an Acknowledgement of Risk before their first day of camp.

Information

Big Fun: Offered for children/youth ages 5 - 11 

We encourage children with disabilities and/or special needs to participate in our program. Please inform the Child and Youth Coordinator at 403.679.5006 of your child’s needs prior to registering to ensure a positive day camp experience.

Financial assistance is available through the Affordable Services Program for Summer Big Fun Camps.

To apply for the program visit the Family & Community Support Services (FCSS) office which is located in the Canmore Civic Centre at 902-7th Ave. You can also call the FCSS office for more information at 403.609.3743. Eligible individuals will be provided with an Affordable Service Program Identification card. Each child will be provided with one complimentary week of summer Big Fun Day Camp.

Families with an Affordable Services card should contact child.youth@canmore.ca to register for camp.
