In 2021, bowvalleynonprofits.ca was developed by the Town of Banff and Town of Canmore as a place for Bow Valley Non-Profits to access resources, training tools, and funding opportunities. It's also a place to connect with members of other non-profits through a forum, or find a local freelance contractor. There is also a free monthly speaker series for local non-profits which have been recorded for continued access.

Settlement Services is a program through the Town of Banff, in partnership with the Town of Canmore, Canadian Rockies Public Schools and Our Lady of the Snows Catholic Academy. The program is funded by Citizenship and Immigration Canada. All services are free and confidential. Our services support Permanent Residents, Live-in Caregivers, Refugees and Temporary Foreign Workers transitioning to permanent status who are living in the Bow Valley – Banff, Canmore, Lake Louise and Kananaskis – no matter the length of time living in Canada.
