Canada Day Parade Registration
Do you want to take part in the iconic Canada Day parade in Canmore? Parade float registration is now open!
Looking for a little float inspiration? Our theme this year is "the Future is Now." We encourage you to take on the challenge of seeing how you can incorporate the theme into your float. Maybe you reflect it in some space-aged costumes, or maybe you use the theme to tackle the issues we need to look at now so that we can impact our future.
Not feeling the theme? No problem, come as you are-- there is no judgement (or judging here). The Canada Day parade offers a safe space for all voices and identities; however, personal, political, or cultural attacks and cultural appropriation will not be tolerated in any form.
Volunteer for Canada Day
Each year, the Town of Canmore is able to host the Canada Day parade thanks to the help of a dedicated crew of volunteers. Want to join us on July 1? We would love to have you!
Our volunteers will be working outside on July 1 along the parade route and at the Canmore Recreation Centre.
